Fitting & Usage
When fixing the sill to frames, ensure that fixings are no further than 50mm from either end, and with no more than 300mm between each. Fixings should go into a reinforcing chamber, and can be made downwards through frame to sill, or upwards, through sill to frame. Caps to close the end of the sill can be bought separately, and fixed using superglue or solvent glue.

The multi-chambered design provides added strength with the upstand allowing your frame to be seated quickly and easily. These sills, sometimes referred to as drop nosed, have also been expertly engineered with a small overhang to allow for moisture to be directed away meaning the risk of water ingress is dramatically reduced providing exceptional weather resistance.
